Bharti Airtel chairman Sunil Mittal has praised the newly signed India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) as “nicely balanced, perhaps more in favour of India,” highlighting its potential to boost British investment in India and enhance technology access. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Mittal underscored that the deal will incentivise UK companies to expand in India while opening new opportunities for Indian firms to invest in the UK, particularly through acquisitions.
